When photographing a family with two small boys, it's important to keep in mind that these little guys are full of energy and are always on the go. As a photographer, you need to capture their personalities and let them be themselves while also capturing a beautiful family portrait. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your fall family photo shoot with a family with two small boys:

  1. Plan ahead: Parents we are going to talk before the shoot and so I can get to know your boys' personalities, interests, and hobbies. This will give me a better understanding of what to expect during the shoot and help me plan accordingly.

  2. Choose the right location: When it comes to a family with two small boys, we want to choose a location that is safe and allows for plenty of room to run around. A playground, park, and ravine.

  3. Keep it fun and engaging: I get it, I have my own children, sometimes they have a short attention span, so we keep the shoot fun and engaging. We play games, and let the boys be themselves.

  4. Capture their personalities: I want you to remember each of boy's unique personality. Whether it's the older brother's protective nature or the younger brother's mischievous smile, I will make sure to capture these special moments.

  5. Take breaks: We might take a break if needed. Kids get tired and hungry, so if we need to give them a break to rest and refuel we will. Just make sure to bring non-messy snacks

Fall is a beautiful time of year for family photos in Edmonton, and with a family with two small boys, it's sure to be a memorable experience. Just remember to have fun, be patient, and let the boys be themselves. With these tips, we'll be able to capture beautiful family memories that will last a lifetime.
