Frequently asked questions

When should I book my session?
Sessions fill up extremely quickly! I accept a limited number of sessions per month and often book at least 2-3 months in advance. If you are expecting, I recommend booking during your second trimester to secure your session.

When will my session happen?
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Newborn photos normally occur when baby is under 14 days old. Family and maternity sessions typically occur either weekday or weekend evenings (the time varies depending on the season).

My baby is already born/over 14 days old, and I didn't book photos! What do I do now?
Don't panic, but contact me right away! Sometimes I do have schedule changes at the last minute, and there is a possibility I can fit you in. I have experience working with 'newborns' older than the typical 14 days, so don't worry.

Where is your studio located?
My newborn photography studio is located in southwest Edmonton.

What does my session fee include?
The session fee pays for the planning of your session, my time and talent during the session, as well as post-production and editing. Your session fee does not include any high or low-resolution digital photos.

How much can I expect to spend?
Typically clients invest between $700 to $1300 on their session.

Why should I book a session with Christy Wells Photography?
