I want to introduce you to sweet little Taylor. She was THREE MONTHS OLD when she came into the Edmonton studio for her "newborn" photos last year. She stayed awake at the start, all curious as to what was happening around her, and then she fell fast asleep. I was still able to pose her just like a 7-day old baby! Her cheeks and little lips were so incredibly cute, it melts your heart and I know her parents treasure these memories and this part of her story.
The world as we know has changed over the last few months, as we navigate life with COVID-19. Newborns who were waiting for their first portrait session in the Edmonton studio had to be put on hold, as we entered a period of isolation and many of us stayed home for weeks. If you were one of those newborns, and you didn't make it into the studio right away, please don't worry. It is not too late. Trust me! I've worked with many 'older newborns' around 6-8 weeks, I have the experience you can trust. So if you've had a baby in the last few weeks, and feel like you missed your newborn photos, I've got you covered! Simply send me a message via our contact tab, and once we are given the all-clear from the Government for posed newborns (all us Alberta photographers are hoping and advocating that happens soon in phase two), and I would love to talk with you. If you don't want to wait for posed photos, we have options, including lifestyle family portraits, as well as parent-led posing.
If you are curious as to what the studio has changed now, with COVID-19 and how we are handling things, take a peek at our updated policies to keep you safe during this time.
Christy xoxo
