There are a lot of emotions as I write this post, and as I took these photos. The question I keep coming back to is how is my baby old enough to graduate from high school already? It feels like yesterday she was born and I was bringing her home on a cold snowy November morning, and now here we are a high school graduate! Class of 2022. I'm so incredibly proud of her. She's an amazingly talented artist and I am so excited to see what the next steps in her journey will look like.
When Lilly started kindergarten, she met Emma. Instantly they were best friends. We moved and Lilly had to change schools, but we were able to still keep them in touch, and they remained friends. Then Emma moved closer to us, and once again they went to the same school...now they have graduated together. For thirteen years these two have been together. Its been such a privilege to watch them both grow up together.
Congrats to both of these amazing humans, as they start the next part of their journey!
