There is something magic about fall in Edmonton, and I promise I'm not talking about pumpkin spice lattes over here. When it comes to photos, it is simply the perfect time of year. The days are still warm but not too hot, the leaves change providing the most gorgeous painted backdrop, and then the sun does that purely magical thing where its a little lower in the sky giving the most incredible golden light at this time of year.
In Edmonton, fall is the perfect time for family photos too because the sun sets so much earlier and golden hour is so much earlier. When you have little kids like Oscar, that means we do not have to stay up way, way, way past bedtime.
Isn't Oscar just the sweetest? He was a busy little boy on the move during his family photos. I loved keeping him entertained and moving, letting him play with his Mom and Dad, and documenting this moment in time as a part of their story.
